Something tells me that when that future arrives and I myself have the opportunity to travel to your country, it will be people like you who will provide the uniting leadership Iraq needs.

Sandybelle, remember we are all in this together--in the fight against the people who are determined to sow chaos upon the people of Iraq...all to often they remind us of that by victimizing people in countries all over the world, from Algeria to Iraq, and from Iraq to Pakistan and as far off as the Phillipines. They think they can divide us, but it will never happen.

God bless you Sandy, and remember that God is looking out for you, and eventually, the efforts of brave Iraqis like you will prevail.C.H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02870558780736700523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5008527710315705771.post-1810660961579075232008-03-09T21:48:00.000+03:002008-03-09T21:48:00.000+03:00Ps. I love to read your words especially long days of being out there. I love to watch the people play soccer in the field near us that we helped make for them, I wish we could do more to help. From talking to you and one of our Terps and a couple of other Iraqi's I know that the youth truely hold the future for you country and someday soon you will flourish and explosions will be a thing of the past. I love to drive by places where construction has taken place and what once was burned and broken is intact and painted and nice. And that is not found in our religion "ISLAM".

I'm proud of you girl, Cuz you know how to express your thoughts and feelings in such a beautiful way.
keep on the good work girl, be save.Michomemehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12760730828995281610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5008527710315705771.post-44849586323837298372008-03-07T10:00:00.000+03:002008-03-07T10:00:00.000+03:00Sandy,Faith is one of those issues that can hold s...Sandy,

Faith is one of those issues that can hold so many different meanings to different people...but in the end, I think that all of those who adhere to a religious or spiritual faith want the same thing: happiness, prosperity, and peace...all of which are main points in Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.

When most people think of God, I think that a lot of them imagine some all-powerful being watching over us. While that could be the case, it seems there is more to it, in my view anyway. For one thing, if you are looking to accomplish something great, I think that God can help guide you there through people you meet, who in turn can help you. God can also provide opportunities to lead you on your way, and can help show you the right path by doing so.

I don't know if you believe in destiny or look at it in an "all things are meant to be approach", but I often do. I think that all things happen for a reason...good things at least. When there is evil in the world, it can be overcome with good.

Those who are critical of religion might say "if there is a God, why does he allow for things like Darfur to happen, where thousands of innocent people have died". Well, I think its because there are bad forces in the world, but they can be solved through action by good, caring people who want to help. God helps these people realize their goals, and then they can bring about action and change to make the world a better place. In the end, such horrific events bring people together to confront them.

Anyway, this is the way I see it. It's a complex issue, but I think its great that you think about it and analyze the true meaning. I recently read a book about the different religions in the world, and one main theme was that all of the faiths are paths leading up the same mountain.C.H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02870558780736700523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5008527710315705771.post-33865577107576687542008-03-06T22:48:00.000+03:002008-03-06T22:48:00.000+03:00Hey Sandy! You know, all that is required of us to ...Hey Sandy!
You know, all that is required of us to become God's children is faith and belief. If you believe that God's Son Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins and was raised to life to represent the eternal life that is ours, and you have total faith in what God can do in your life, then you are saved by his grace. God requires nothing else, no good works or long prayers. Of course, living one's life for God means you are kind and loving and caring towards other people, but don't consider those good deeds your ticket to heaven. Prayer is how we talk with God, and babbling off in prayer just so others will hear it is not really talking with God. May God bless you and open your eyes to his saving grace,
Catcathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13539648825082247290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5008527710315705771.post-60607493669118688242008-03-06T22:41:00.000+03:002008-03-06T22:41:00.000+03:00this is my first visitbeautiful and very peaceful ...this is my first visit

beautiful and very peaceful blog

i respect your thoughts even if I'm not agree with it because in atheist

but before we thank god this much,,we have to thank human more because he surly existed in this world

we have to thank human and love our life,,its all good for man kind

keep it up
and good luckatsuma the free manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10094412603326144604noreply@blogger.com
